Jamal Matthews the British Rapper from South-East London, known by his stage name JamKvy; who is a multifaceted artist. Grime MC /Rapper known for his Song-writing also has credits Co-Producing and occasionally Singing. His musical career began featuring on Nu Brand Flexxx ‘Feel so Good’. Supporting the groups Rangoose, Vol. 1 album tour. Jamkvy became known for his complex and energetic wordplay.
Jamkvy then began working alongside Grime artist Saskilla on their 1st joint visual Mixtape released on Youtube called '51 Spencer Place'. Releasing 17 Music videos weekly with positive critiqué and blogging from SBTV, GRMDAILY and many more online platforms which amassed over 2 Million online-views by 2013.

Jamkvy then recorded new tracks set for features such as 'Here Before' & 'Nu Wave' which were released on "This Is Grime Volume.4" & Saskilla's
"Godson Of Grime". Jamkvy then began focusing more on his solo work, completing
and releasing his 1st album entitled Blvckshxxp (Independently), which is available to stream and download on all digital outlets; with physical release on Amazon.

Whilst still promoting his previous album BLVCKSHXXP, Jamkvy released the 6 track E.P 'Blvckshxxp Trpl6'. He then followed this project with singles, 'Sauce', 'Dey Wan Teef' & 'Habibti' and the 'Love Locked Down' single & Reality Show. He later released 'O.G THE FILM'e.p. Followed shortly by 'SHIRLEY' the album & AREA 51 project which was made alongside grime activist Saskilla.

In 2023 Jamkvy's most recent releases have gained notoriety with singles 'Sunshine' alongside Moonlight Afriqa, 'Free Your Mind' featuring House Of Miagi (both produced by Dr Benstein) & 'Lie 2 U' alongside singer-songwriter Paisleigh B all featuring on BBC Introducing via 1xtra & Radio 1. Jamkvy's follow up releases have been: 'Good Morning', 'Haunted', 'Change' & 'Mud' which are all featured in his Spotify curated playlist This Is JamKvy.
